The systems are extremely versatile & can be expanded to a large capacity with any combination of transmitter being added, from PA, nurse call, perimeter protection, & infrared ceiling detectors to give staff the position of a person should a unit be activated, these can also be linked to trigger a pager for location display

Staff BeltClip Unit - Ceiling Unit Help - Call Unit

dual technology ceiling or wall mounted location units The system consists of a number of fully monitored dual technology Ceiling or Wall mounted location units.  These location units contain both Infra-Red receivers for localised receipt of signals and a Radio transmitter to communicate information back to the system.

1) Ceiling Location Unit
2) Wall Location Unit
3) Staff BeltClip Unit

Redundancy
Using 2 technologies (Infra-Red & Radio) to raise an alarm provides the User with a level of redundancy. 

If a Staff BeltClip unit was activated in an area not covered by a Ceiling/Wall location unit or if the Infra-Red was masked then the alarm would not be raise and no one would know you are in need of assistance.

However, using our DuoComm technology even if the BeltClips Infra-Red signals are not received by a location unit, the BeltClips Radio signals are transmitted directly to the System.
